Terms of Service/Commission Information
By commissioning me, you agree to my terms and conditions. Please feel free to reach out for clarification, if necessary.
Commission Quoting/Application
All pricing is based on individual quotes. Quote pricing is based on complexity of design, cost of materials, and size of plush.Starting price for a plush is currently $300USD + shipping fees. This price includes a base plush, and 3 different colors of minky. It is $15 for any additional shade of minky needed for purchase, I may charge more for additional materials such as beads, dye, faux fur, etc. Clothing comes with an additional fee. Again, final pricing is determined by quote, this is just an estimate.Quotes are given through directly messaging @mushruue on Instagram or @mushruee on X. You may also contact me via email at [email protected].Quotes are valid for up to a year after being received and interest form is filled out and submitted. After a year, you must request a new quote.You must submit an interest form to finalize your QUOTE.Due to volume of demand, my commissions are, unfortunately, no longer first-come-first-serve. After receiving a QUOTE, and filling out the INTEREST FORM, you will be notified when a COMMISSION APPLICATION FORM is opened. If you choose to fill out this form, understand that you are applying for a spot on my queue for a plush commission.If you are selected for my queue, you will be contacted directly and notified.I reserve the right to refuse service.
Cancellations/Refund Policy
If you are on the waitlist/in queue, and have not yet paid the deposit for your plush, you may cancel at any time. You must notify me directly if you intend on cancelling your commission.
If you have paid the deposit for your commission and materials have been ordered, but I have not yet begun the plush, you qualify for a refund upon cancellation. You must notify me directly if you intend on cancelling your commission.
Once I have begun working on the plush and materials have been tampered with, you may not cancel the commission and will not receive a refund.I do not allow returns or refunds after a plush is complete.
Commission Timeline
After reaching out, recieveing a quote, and filling out the INTEREST FORM, you will be notified when either a spot opens up for you, or the APPLICATION FORM is opening. I will honor waitlist spots that were previously given until they are completed.Please reference my commission queue Trello for progress on current commissions/my queue.After a commission is confirmed, I will illustrate a plush concept that will be referenced during plush production. This concept is what I base the plush off of, please ask for as many revisions as necessary to ensure the design is accurate!I will send potential fabric options for commissioner to approve.After the concept is finalized and approved, I will make the digital embroidery files for the plush. Once they have been shared with the commissioner, and approved, I am able to begin the commission.To officially begin the commission, 50% of payment must be given (payment deposit) in order for me to order materials. This deposit is non-refundable, and part of the initial quote/total payment.Once materials have arrived, I begin the commisssion.Commissioners are allowed to ask for minor changes during commission process, I reserve the right ot refuse changes if I believe they would require a significant increase in labor, but I do my absolutely best to accomodate changes.If a requested change deviates from the original concept, I reserve the right to refuse changes or charge additional fees. However, this will be thoroughly communicated to the commissioner, and I will provide as many options/alternatives as possible that work within the original price quote.Once the plush is complete, I will ask the commissioner if they have any final alterations, and await approval before shipping.Payment must be fully completed before I ship out the plush.Once the plush is shipped/received, you may not ask for changes. I am happy to do alterations, with a small fee.Plushies are typically completed in 2-3 weeks after material has arrived and I have begun.Fabric usually takes 2-3 weeks to arrive.If plush is damaged within 30 days of being recieved, I am happy to offer free repairs. Please contact me!If the commission timeline deviates from these estimates in any way, I am responsible for communicating any delays/changes to commissioners.Feel free to ask for as many WIP photos as you'd like! I do my best to freuently send updates on the plush, but feel free to ask for more if you'd like.
Payment
50% of payment is due up front before I order materials for the plush.50% is paid after the plush is complete, before it is shipped outCommissioner is responsible for covering any shipping fees as well as tariffs (when applicable).I accept payment plans on a case-by-case basis. Please do not be afraid to ask about them, though!I accept PayPal and Venmo.
Shipping
I ship through USPS.I primarily ship within the U.S.I have shipped plushies internationally to Northern Ireland, Canada, the United Kingdom. Please disclose if you are not a resident of the U.S so I am able to assess if international shipping is an option.I am not responsible for any damages that occur during shipping, nor am I responsible for lost mail. Please contact me if there are issues with shipping and I will no my best to help resolve them.Commissioners are responsible for paying any shipping expenses.
Other Disclosure
Each plush I create is original. I do not share my patterns with clients, and you may not use your custom plush as a prototype- it cannot be reproduced/manufactured, or used for commercial use. If you are interest in mass-producing a plush that I would be designing, please reach out directly to my business email, [email protected] to discuss pricing and contracts.I come from a dog-friendly non-smoking household.
